This is a great product and I use it with my Yongnuo YN-560-IV

This is a great product and I use it with my Yongnuo YN-560-IV. I also use a YN-560-III which I can control with a radio trigger and YN-IV combo as it acts like a master. Battery life and range are pretty good. I tested it up to 50m between camera and flash and it fired correctly.

Ideal for flash photography.

This is amazing. I put one on the camera and connect the cable that came with it to the camera. I carry the other in my pocket. I have two Yonguo YN-560 III flashes that I use off camera. I can sit down and use the remote control to release the shutter and turn on the flash. I photographed hummingbirds on my patio in the heat of summer while sitting in air-conditioned comfort at home.

Not as easy as I thought to set up

Not as easy as I thought to set up. Spent a few hours before I got it to work. So I figured the second time would be much faster and I couldn't get it to work at all. I later realized that this might be specific to certain cameras. I have two different Nikons, D600 and D3s, so I'm not sure I've tried a second time to make it work with D3s. I'll definitely keep experimenting. Make sure you play with it before you go shooting.

  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Love it! on Lighting & Studio

When I switched from Nikon to Sony, I needed to look for a new wireless shutter release for my Sony cameras. Easier said than done. CamRanger is above it all and I needed something fast and consistent. Yes these are Yougnuo triggers for a Nikon camera but since I only need one trigger they work great. I can walk around a large room in the house and take a hot shot with a camera that has a wireless flash; yongnuo is mounted on a tripod and connected to the camera mount and the other trigger is…
