According to my experience, these alligator clips were poorly made and did not live up to the quality I expected from an Industrial and Scientific product. While the size and quantity were adequate, the insulation cover was weak and fell off easily. The one pro was the price, but it ultimately was not worth it given the poor quality.

Half of these clamps will not fit a standard test lead, red is just an open end. It's really not worth trying to save a few bucks.

They do what they're supposed to do, but unless the power cord is thick, they slip off the clip and back onto the cord. You may need to secure them with tape.
