Not compatible with Mac over network

We bought this printer to do inventory labels but what a pain. If you connect it to your network via the Ethernet port, you can only print to a PC. Also, you cannot set the IP address, so every time the printer is turned off or the power goes out, the IP address will change and you need to set it up again. We have both a Mac and a PC on our network and you can only print to it from one PC. To print from a Mac, you MUST have a direct USB connection, defeating the purpose of spending extra money…

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

you'll be fine. Make sure it's who you are.

If you have used this printer before or know what to do with it, you will be fine. Make sure it's exactly what you need, otherwise it can get confusing. A NOTICE. DO NOT throw away the cardboard core that came with this printer. You'll need it to wrap ink around. Keep this in mind and you will be fine!

Pros
  • As is everything still
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Only buy Zebra printers from an authorized dealer.

I thought I'd buy a new Zebra printer but according to Zebra the one year warranty expired in August 2021. This means that the warranty started in August 2020 for the original purchaser and not for me.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • too long to wait

Be careful not to throw away the packaging material.

So inside the printer is a cardboard tube that looks like it's just part of the packaging material. I threw it away with the box and had to replace it. It's called the 4 inch core and it's available online, but in my opinion it should have a discard warning sticker or just be made so that it doesn't look like cardboard.

Pros
  • Sturdy Finish
Cons
  • Weak Set

SUPER FAST PRINTER! WOW!

I WOULD SPEND HOURS TO PRINT THE FIRST LABEL! I was the typical person trying to get it to work without asking for help. I finally gave up and called their tech support and was helped within 10 minutes with no issues. Now that the printer is working it's a dream! It gives out barcodes so fast we have to get out of the way! I love this car!

Pros
  • Tested by Zebra: Tested and certified by Zebra engineers for optimal performance and reduced printer downtime
Cons
  • I can't remember, but something happened

Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
