    Great idea if it works I just couldn't figure it out

    I tried to use this product but maybe I lacked the skills. There was a lot more gear on my camera than I expected. I hope that one day this technology will become easier

    I only have one problem with it.

    This is a neat device. The device works great. I have a feeling that the cord that powers the device could be longer. When installing a larger camera, this does not reach the power hub on the gimbal. When I manage to reach the hub it feels too stretched and I feel like I can't find a good balance, which puts more pressure on the motors and reduces battery life.

    Autofocus - mostly practice makes perfect

    There are very few placement options for the 16mm Rokinon Prime lens, but once you find the sweet spot, let's go where the rubber meets the mechanism, everything works fine. Not great, okay. If the belt shifts slightly when the lens is rotated and the drive gear is not too tight, slippage will occur and smooth video focusing should be practiced. Overall it's still a great addition to my video kit and will be of great use. There are more issues like balancing when used with Weebills, but…

    Who designed it? No one?

    Zhiyun usually makes great products, and I don't know what happened here. The mounting system will not work with a smaller camera like the Nikon D3300. You get a big mess of messy fasteners and can't tighten any of them to spec. The included USB-C to USB-C cable was too short to cover the distance. Instead of attaching the zoom/focus controller to the gimbal plate, they attach it to a quick release plate, which turns it into a slow release plate that you have to take apart every time you want…

    This will NOT work with Crane 3S. Not exactly

    I was very worried that this is not compatible with Zhiyun Crane 3S, but it is not. Not the way it should be. This is the "MAX" version that allows the image to be enlarged. It's larger because it usually takes more torque to pull the zoom out. When connected to the Crane 3S, the gimbal will recognize the motor as a "zoom" motor.     It could be better. - Stabilizer bars

    It works but could be better. It is difficult to attach it firmly to the gimbal and camera. I have a Canon 6D Mark II with a 24-105mm L IS lens. I mainly use it for zooming. The first problem is that you can mount it on either side of the lens, but the USB cable is too short to mount it on the left side of the lens. A 1 or 2 inch longer cable would solve this problem.     Added Complications

    This engine does what it's supposed to and when it runs it's great. But here's the kicker if you didn't get it with the stabilizer and want to buy it separately. I use a6000 with K&F Nikon G adapter (for newer lenses without aperture ring) and Tamron 17-50 2.8 for crop cameras.
