This is the best all in one I have ever used! First of all, it's easy to use, use one side or the other. I usually program my side of the carafe the night before so my coffee is ready in the morning. Everything is very simple with this machine. I haven't tried programming any side of the concoction, but I'm sure it works fine. My only downside, which probably won't bother most coffee drinkers, is that the coffee comes out too hot. I usually put two ice cubes in the cup when I pour my morning coffee. But that's just me, most people like it hot. Single serve or K-side of the cup works great. Due to the modular design of the K-Cup holder, all you need to be aware of is that when you insert the K-Cup, you will feel it being punctured by the lower needle. The top needle doesn't need much pressure as it only pierces the top of the foil of the k-cups, so closing the lid is enough. I use the single brew side to brew iced tea. The device has two different containers, although the k-side of the cup only brews what you put in it, unlike most kurigs, which hold extra water. Just pour what you need and he will brew that amount for you. The height of the k-side of the mug is big enough for my large travel mugs. I've attached some photos, hope they help.
