They don't work like 3 4 5 6 at all. You can only connect TWO wires together. The ONLY thing they do is stack next to each other to stay side by side. However, continuity does not extend to all ports when you connect them together. It goes through each connector separately, so you end up with a bunch of individual circuits running in parallel with each other.
