We had a very old rickety stool in the house that was due for an upgrade. I was looking for an easy to fold and sturdy stool with larger steps that could hold considerable weight. This stool hit all the marks. It pops out with a breeze by using the handle at the top and a hand on the first step. It easily locks into place with no fuss. The stool legs have a rubberized bottom that give that extra bit of sturdiness when using them. The steps are wide and deep giving plenty of room to climb up them or set something on the top stair when doing some work. It easily pops back closed when done and the foam grip at the top makes it comfortable to pick up and carry back to the closet. It also supports up to 500lbs! We love this stool and highly recommend it.
