Review on LACUISINE Grommet Handheld Portable Grommets by Lonnie Batch

I liked the product and it was delivered quickly as ordered. This is my first time using it and it's a bit clingy, but I have a shim kit. Then I noticed that about 1/4 of the jack wasn't fully installed. I thought it might be user error since it was my first try. I set a second and the same thing happened. I examined the tool and found that the top and bottom do not fully compress. The photo shows that the edge of the cabinet does not close completely to the swivel mechanism. There are set screws so I just thought they were misaligned. I loosened the top and found that the set screw was cross-threaded and also bent. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the barrels were indeed tacked as well, and at one point I can't grind the weld and move the barrels. As such, it cannot be adjusted, which would have been nice if it had been targeted from the start. So now I have a tool that does the job, but I won't be using it again. I'm trying to find a way to contact the seller but to no avail. I hope this is just a one off defect but I have a feeling this is not the case. I would not recommend buying this tool at the moment. I received a replacement unit and it was set up the same way. Look at the 2nd photo and you can clearly see that the barrels are not aligned and are also tack-tacked so they cannot be adjusted. The barrel's upper set screw is also bent and stripped. I am returning the 2nd tool and will not order again, very disappointed.
