I was hoping to give this five stars. I have two. The device was packaged as expected. is strong enough. The cable length is sufficient for standard garage door installations. It synced to HomeKit as expected and I named two openers and the garage they are in. But there is a very annoying problem. They both like to part ways with HomeKit by accident. . WiFi just goes off. Each of them has been periodically disconnected since installation. Sometimes due to a power outage and sometimes because it has nothing to do with the power outage. And once they disconnect, they never automatically try to reconnect — unlike other HomeKit devices. I have quite a few different HomeKit devices and Meross are devices that are constantly unstable. I hope there is a firmware update that fixes this. But from July 2021 no. Also, such shutdowns occur very regularly—usually within a week.
