The button on these remote controls is incredibly sensitive, which means that simply hitting the key and pressing the button will open the garage door. It's a poor design with too little pressure and not enough button travel to activate your door. This opens your garage door without your knowledge and can then leave it open in an unsafe state until the next time you see it. This problem was present with both remote controls, so it was not an isolated case. I thought we could get through this if we were careful, until one morning I found that our garage door was literally left open all night.
