Review on 🔧 Permatex 81158 Black Silicone Adhesive Sealant, 3 oz. Tube, Single Pack by Todd Vesci

I bought this to fix a crack in my dashboard as the product was advertised as being good for high temperatures. The Texan heat cracked the dashboard, and the Texan heat was too much for this silicone. I used it as directed in mild weather, squeezing a generous amount of the product into the slit with a tongue depressor. I wiped off the excess and let it dry. The repair at such a prominent location on Akuralole looked so-so. A few days later the weather warmed up again and the repairs were stopped immediately. Now everything looks like a broken dashboard with poor repairs. I hope this review will save someone else the hassle.
