I use a seam roller for many things. I wanted one that could not only roll wallpaper but could handle thin sheet metal, such as copper and aluminum, and thick cardboard. This roller with the aluminum roller surface and double ball bearings fits the bill. In addition, the attachment to the handle is via a thick steel shank and appears to be well embedded into the handle. The handle has a great gripping surface and includes a thumb rest. It is not round like many of the cheap rollers are, and this prevents turning in the hand, which provides excellent down-force and control. The vertical offset roller design helps with knuckle clearance above the surface. Definitely recommended.
