My wife and I wanted to restrict access to our office space in our home. We tried several goals. None worked. These gates have come to us. It is a true 37 inches tall and our cats have no way of getting through the narrow diamond shaped slots. All other goals fell within minutes. This gate and height solved our problem. While the same company has an even larger 44″, this one completely stopped our cats and gives us an open space when working from home in our office without having to close the doors preventing airflow into the office. The cats can watch us work without becoming a loving disturbance to our kittens. Success! The gate is in good condition. It is very easy and simple to use.
