The company sent me a lemon scented air freshener with the snips, which was nice as I put it in the bottom of our trash receptacle. They also provided several samples of different materials to cut. I used the snips to cut 1/8 inch stainless cable to finish out my custom wire hand rail. They worked well enough on longer pieces. If you try to cut too close to the end of the wire it's a bit of a struggle. I dont think it's the fault of the snips though. The wires will splay and slide between the cutting blades. I think it's a matter of technique.
