Review on METROVAC Computer/Electronics Duster, 4 inW, 70 cfm, Upgraded 2016 Version by Bob Jensen

Let me start by saying that this thing is amazing. Difficult. It cleans dust very effectively and is very well built. It has the build you would expect from a proper tool designed with the professional in mind rather than the consumer. Seriously, it's super well built! I also have a Canless Air X3 Hurricane and as far as air pressure goes this thing just blows it out of the water! At the same time, Hurricane has the advantage of convenience and portability. However, the Datavac has advantages in performance, cost, and possibly better materials with an all-metal body over the (admittedly good) plastic Hurricane. This thing sounds louder than a hurricane, despite being quieter and less annoying. Sounds like a vacuum cleaner, which is probably not a big surprise. If you have a lot of dust to remove or otherwise need a lot of power, I recommend the Datavac. My only complaint is that the ESD strap, which is a standard production strap, is attached to a metal stud with an alligator clip, but the metal stud doesn't protrude much and has a large radius, so the alligator clip doesn't stay on too OK. Otherwise the stuff is great!
