Bought this for my tiny office. It is 12' x 8'. I placed the device on my desk in front of me and placed the digital humidity meter 24 inches to the right of the actual humidifier. I was expecting some increase but over the course of the day the humidity dropped by 1% and rose back up to 11% normal. As cute as he is, he's just not efficient, especially in my small office. I'd say it's tiny - about the size of a Coke can, maybe a little bigger. It would easily fit in a car's cup holder. - and maybe it would be more effective in such a limited space? If you are a traveler and have problems with dryness - worth a try for this price. I set it up and ran it without reading the instructions. I think if I read the instructions I would press the buttons less to get the correct settings but no harm or foul everything works fine for me. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this for more than a VERY tight space. He lets off steam from above, but to be honest it doesn't really matter. it's good, but then again. How long will you use this without seeing a change?
