Perfect fit for my application

It was the perfect length and width/height to run on the underside of my RTT railing. Not sure what you see in the photos but I managed to screw them into one of the aluminum rail channels on my RTT. Provides a very clean installation and requires no additional C-rail or other attachment. I inserted it from the cab side, pulled it almost completely out of the channel through the tailgate, then peeled off the adhesive backing before sliding it in, then put it back in place (sliding back towards the cab). I was then able to use a flathead screwdriver to gently press the light strip against the aluminum track and staple it in place. I ran them on a small portable lithium-ion battery pack, which also shows how much power is being used. At full power, they consumed 31 watts. At minimum power, they drew less than 1 watt. Not sure I'll ever need them at minimum power, but it's nice to know they draw very little in this mode. They light up the body of my truck quite well. Because of the way I installed them in the aluminum rail, some of the light intensity is scattered in angles and the like. Then again, they're almost invisible until I turn them on - which is exactly what I wanted. The build quality is good. They appear to be well sealed and I suspect they will be waterproof. However, you will not see much water at my installation site. The power cords and connectors seem to fit the application. I like the dimmable switch although I have yet to figure out how and where it will work. I've given this four stars for now because I want to see how they hold up over time. Hopefully a five star product after all.
