I just completed my first PEX installation project using this kit and it worked great. The cutter cuts 3/4" PEX easily and cleanly. The crimping tool also worked great for both crimping and trimming yokes that I had accidentally crimped before I had all the fittings positioned correctly. It came up quickly and at a very competitive one Price supplied Be careful protect your eyes when cutting crimped clips, a clipped clip can turn into a projectile flying in an unexpected direction This tool requires little force to initiate the crimp, but not excessive The crimping tool is a few inches shorter than the much more expensive versions that you will find in major stores which is probably why it takes a bit more effort to start the crimping process.I'm sure this compact tool offers a little less effort than heavier crimping tools costing over $60 an inch and have longer handles on the other hand the more compact size doesn't make it easy to store in a toolbox or basket or in a crate and is probably easier to hold on to when positioned on a loose clamp as it rubs easily and is more maneuverable in tight spaces.
