Review on 🌊 EcoSmart ECO 11 Electric Tankless Water Heater with Patented Self Modulating Technology – 13KW, 240 Volts by Wayde Lash

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The guarantee is meaningless. Nonetheless.

Update 3 September 2019 Installed the EcoSmart 11 unit myself. There are no installation problems. The block works very well. But. The warranty is useless for DIYers, so to hell with that. Three stars is all you get for trusting your product so little that you have to skimp on the warranty.1. This was a replacement for a 20 year old Envirotech tankless unit (from the store) so I had already connected the required power supply and connected the unit.2. Installation was easy too, although the inlet fitting dripped a bit until I doubled up on Teflon tape AND added thread lubricant. There are no other leaks in the block. Flickering Lights I have 400 amps (more than double the minimum required) powering two 200 amp panels that are load balanced and have a LOT of spare load. In no case do I overload the panel. and yet multiple LEDs flashed all over my house when the device was turned on and continued to do so until the device turned itself off. I also noticed that the flickering only happened to the bulbs that were on the dimmers (but not all). Some research has led me to the conclusion that dimmer switches respond to the EcoSmart load and flicker the light on that switch. I'll replace the dimmers with a regular switch and see if that makes a difference. ----------------- I'm giving it three stars for now, but we'll see how it goes. Dear EcoSmart, do you see something wrong with the attached picture? There was no wiring harness in my unit, and maybe that's how it should have been shipped, but. How should I connect the wire harness to the heater WITHOUT breaking the warranty seal?
