So far this camera is working well. A USB-A to USB micro cable is included for charging. A full charge takes a few hours, but is said to be a few months before a top-up is needed unless accessed too frequently for live video. The Android app asks for permission to access the camera, location, microphone and storage. It only seems to require location permission during installation (don't know why, but it couldn't connect the camera to WiFi until I turned it on) - and turning it off afterwards didn't cause me any problems. Microphone permission is required to access live video in order to use the app to speak on the camera to anyone who may be present. It also requires permission to access live video, possibly to save clips and screenshots. I don't know why it's asking for camera permission - I disabled it and the app still works fine. It might have been part of the installation process that I forgot. The video itself is pretty good - much clearer than I expected. Full color in light, black and white in night vision, with decent sound quality. I can even read the instruction manual that came with it through the camera with its tiny text. You can easily access the clips recorded by the camera when its PIR, motion or people detectors are on and it will send you an alert whenever there is movement. found, with some options to disable notifications for up to 12 hours when they start getting annoying. There are options to adjust the sensitivity of motion detection, as well as Home, Away, and Disarmed modes, allowing you to customize how recordings, alarms, and push notifications are handled. While watching live video, you can easily mute the audio, record video clips, take screenshots, make phone calls and hear your voice in the camera, view all past discovery events, or turn on the camera's alarm, among other things. The camera itself has a microSD slot for video storage (microSD not included), as well as a microUSB charging port and an on/off switch, which are usually protected by a weatherproof rubber plug. It only works with 2.4GHz WiFi networks - it will not connect to 5GHz networks. It doesn't record 24/7, it records automatically every time motion is detected. One of my images contains a QR code to access the app if you want to download and try the app before buying the camera. Three pictures were taken by the camera itself, and all other pictures and videos were taken by the camera itself and recorded directly from the application, so you can check the quality.
