Dog tag solution - my new review
The split rings and S hooks normally provided for dog tags just do not survive routine play. I chose to insert this cable into the same fabric space as the D ring for leash attachment to keep tags from hanging too low or moving around the collar as others have done. This keeps the tags close while protecting the cable from loss or an additional item to catch. Great idea on making these! One note, I did have to drill out the hole a bit on the rabies tag to get on the cable.
