I got different sizes to improve heat dissipation in my NUC used for HTPC. But I've since put it to good use in my high power flashlights to fill in the gaps and offer better heat dissipation, meaning longer runtime at very high settings. This pillow is great as it is malleable so can be stretched a bit to adjust the thickness and length to fit a very tight space. Heat is the #1 killer of electronic circuits and components, so having an efficient way to keep the temperature down really helps. This stuff isn't as messy as thermal paste, which seeps everywhere. Excellent product, highly recommended.
