Compared two side by side

I compared these hearing devices with those listed here:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BKW64CX7I am not a doctor, and if you are concerned about your hearing, I would go see a specialist. All the comments I am about to make are about me and my personal situation. With that out of the way. Here is what I liked about THIS set.- There are a ton of earpiece attachment options, and also a option to put on a thicker sound tube. This set went above and beyond to ensure a good fit.- There are 10 volume levels, and the device will remember the previous volume setting when turned off and on. The cheaper set only had 3 levels and didn't remember- They seemed to have less of a tendancy to produce a feedback squeal, although I could still (intentionally) make them squealHere is what is inferior to the other set:- Ovbiously price. This set is $190 vs. $140 for the other- The charging dock is cheaper. In the cheaper set, the dock also acted as a case, and had its own battery, so it could charge the devices even when not plugged in. This set has a simple charger (which is not very portable), and separate case. The manufacturer of this set could learn something by checking out the (cheaper) competition.- The devices themselves are a tad larger than their cheaper competition. They are silver vs. the tan color of the cheaper set. I've attached a side by side photo.Common to both sets:- They both have a "quiet" and "noisy" environment mode. I preferred the setting it to noisy even in quiet environments.- These are general sound amplifiers and are not tunable. If you have just high frequency loss and you turn the volume up to be able to hear speech better, then low frequencies will be way too loud. Both of these sets could benefit from a trebble mode. My biggest complaint is that if I turned them up to the point I could hear speech, then dropping a fork was like a shotgun going off next to my ear.Summary:- I vastly perfer the case / charge dock of the cheaper set vs. this set. The charger is this set's worst feature.- The sound quality and accessesories on this set are a tad superior to the other set.- 10 level volume control is nice, but a trebble control would be even better- Neither set is a perfect substitute for professional hearing aids as they are not tunableYou can read my review of the other set for more details on that. I'm giving them both 5 stars because each have their own advantage and disadvantages.
