Update.The replacement hearing aids arrived and have been working pretty well. The hissing sound is a bit louder on these but after trying them out in a car, in a supermarket and in a restaurant.My biggest problem is in restaurants and although I can hear voices much better, they do a poor job of reducing the background noise, in a car, their is a lot of air noise etc which drowns out a lot of the noise and are more comfortable to use.They also work to enhance voices in supermarkets but the same issue with background noise is always there.I find these useful for short periods, i.e. dinner in a restaurant, a trip to the supermarket but the background noise is unacceptable for using them for more than an hour or so.If you can use these for short periods of time and need help with voices, these will help. For all day use, find something else (you may need to pay more)I tested these for battery longevity and these will last all day on one charge should you decide to use them,This is an initial review which will be soon updated. I was quite impressed with these hearing aids until the left one made a hissing sound and died. Here is where I am so far…They are pretty comfortable and I forget I am wearing them. They come with thin and thick tubes. I don't care for the thick tubes, I find them more visible, they are also more rigid and I find them harder to use. These is a good selection of cups to choose from that fit on the tubes so they will fit comfortably in your earsThey come with a nice charging stand where they charge side by side. They also have a really nice carry caseI am pleasantly surprised at how good the sound is, there are settings for noisy and restaurant backgrounds.I was actually trying them in a restaurant when the left one failed.As soon as I receive the replacements I will pick up where I left off.So far these are a good deal and I provisionally recommend them
