Review on ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ Biqu Printer Flexible Magnetic Sheet - 140x84mm by Alif Wills

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Weak magnet causes slip. Pull tab for removing damaged resin containers.

See photos. The magnet is not strong enough to hold the flexplate in place while printing. , 2021. 10 prints before writing this review. 3M tape: Good. Adhesion of the flexible plate to the print: not impressive. (I had to roughen the surface.) Flexible Plate Removes Pressure: Good. Attraction of the flexible plate to the magnet: Poor. The magnet cannot handle a model with a large base or many supports. Anything that covers more than 50% of the total FEP sheet area. The magnet does not hold tension on the FEP, so the flex sheet flexes, allowing the resin into the gap of the magnet. With resin between the flexplate and magnet, the flexplate slides with each retract, leaving steps and x/y errors. (See my photos) The bars in the first photo should be vertical bars, not smooth curves. The plate shifted in the x/y direction when it was lifted off the FEP. The plate in the second photo shows the flexible plate separating from the magnet and flexing the underside of this print. The magnet cannot hold the flexible sheet in place against the attraction of a large area. Also, the flex plate release tab is too wide for the Elegoo Mars Pro 2 tank. It will scrape the edge when retracting unless you tilt it diagonally. Buyers be careful. Before writing this, I tried adjusting the bottom layer retraction speed and bottom layer exposure time, but the same problems persisted. This product does not have sufficient durability to attach large prints without being pulled off the magnet.

Pros
  • Matching 3D printer model
Cons
  • So far so good
