They work, but you can tell they're not high quality

Bought these for a kitchen light project, and they don't match the similar fittings you'll find in the big box stores. These are clearly decorative only.the lip on the edge of the threads is MUCH smaller than standard fittings. When you put them side-by-side with one of the pieces from HD or Lowes, you can see how much smaller/weaker they look. I was able to hide them some, and they blend into the project, but I may replace them in the future just to ensure the entire light is uniform.Have bought several other pieces from same retailer and they were great, these elbow's were the first order that I wasn't satisfied with.

Malleable iron can rust and corrode over time, leading to unsightly and potentially hazardous shelving or decor
