It has a small battery, but that's because it's so small and compact, as far as electric screwdrivers go. And besides, in less than 50 minutes it can get fully charged with the USB-C cable that it comes with. And I believe it lasts for over three hours on a charge. However, it DOES NOT come with the part that plugs in the wall. Also, it doesn't specify anywhere in the listing or the instructions, exactly what input is required to recharge it. Or so I thought. Here is a good example of why it's important to also look at the questions others have posted regarding an item. Because someone did ask about it, and it was answered. And so, whatever you charge it with, just make sure that first number on the input (the volts) is no higher than 5V. And since it charges so quickly, try not to leave it plugged in once it's charged. If you do, the alien technology in it will make it glow red and it will destroy all life within a 700 kilometer radius of you, including you. Haha! Of course I'm kidding about that. But I believe it will reduce the life span of the device if you leave it plugged in for extended periods of time after it's fully charged. Not everything is like that, but in the instructions they do say you should unplug it after it's fully charged. And for anyone who is wondering what the blue pry bar is for, I'm pretty sure it's to allow you to get inside of the Magnetizer. The other blue thing, that magnetizes and demagnetizes the screwdriver bits. I could be wrong though, as I'm not sure as to why it would need to be opened. Anyway, it's a pretty neat little automatic screwdriver and I'd recommend it to anyone considering it. But if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go take apart another piece of electronics and put it back together, lol!
