Didn't expect everything I wanted. Not only does it work with QC 4.0 and USB PD, it also has full USB 3.0 data transfer and comes with one of those nano Type-A to Micro-B adapters that plug into a Type plug. I ran a speed test on a USB 3.0 flash drive and got the same results with and without the tester. It outputs no power to A when input from C, but works in any other case. It makes sense, so it doesn't bother me at all. I've lost the reversibility that the old Type A 2.0 meter had, but then again I totally understand why and I'm glad they went in that direction. I've had a whole day of expensive electronics not working and testing this little device has reignited my confidence in the technology.
