Review on AXIAL 1238W Muffin Fan - High Speed 120mm πŸŒ€ x 38mm, 120V AC, UL-Certified for DIY Cooling Ventilation Exhaust Projects by Mark Powell

Works perfect for me.

This is exactly what I wanted and exactly what I expected. These are high speed fans to move a lot of air. Yes you can hear them but they are not that loud. it's a bit like the sound of car tires on a hot or wet road. Basically you just set it up. I use high quality graphics and this solved the cooling issue I was having. The only downside is that the holes you would normally use for screwing are slightly smaller than the "normal" case fan holes. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but the frames ARE metal. I just used a glue gun in the corners to attach. If you REALLY want to use screws, you can just use mounting screws. probably 10-42 or 10-24, with nut and washers.

Pros
  • UL listed dual ball bearing fan has a lifespan of 67,000 hours. Can be installed in any direction.
Cons
  • Too long to wait
