I would give zero stars if I could. My wife used it on our bed on some very cold nights and all it did was make very loud noises, disturbing our sleep and overheating my wife. We bought this blanket hoping to replace the old heated electric blanket my wife uses to keep our bed warm on very cold nights. What a waste of money. This item is an emergency thermal blanket paired with a very lightweight blanket. The emergency blanket you shouldn't wear for long is very noisy and reflects so much body heat that you can't safely use it for more than a few hours. We tried using it as a throw on our sofa where we watch TV and my wife knits. Also so loud that we couldn't watch TV when my wife was using it. Don't waste money.
