I think it will have magic in my living room! As for the application, I was nervous about this type of paper. I'm comfortable with traditional wallpaper that has a glue/glue applied to it that allows the paper to slide a bit to move into a precise position. This adhesive sticks where it touches and has to be lifted to change position, but it's a thick plastic/vinyl that won't stretch, even if the sticky sides stick together and separate! Actually I was pretty hard with it and I don't think I stretched it anywhere. There is a smell of formaldehyde, which persists during installation and quickly disappears. Washing the wall is crucial - it must not be dusty. My wall looked clean and was repainted 2 years ago. I used a damp kitchen towel to remove the dust but removed the baseboards after washing. The wallpaper didn't stick at all where the baseboards were. it stuck to the rest of the walls with no problem and stayed put with no parts detaching from the wall. My walls are painted with drywall, the picture doesn't match. I was very concerned about this. Matching a specific set of markings makes it so that the remaining markings under that seam will only match again at one other point over a 8 ft. length. I'm quite picky and would notice any inconsistency, but NO INCONSISTENCES SHOULD BE SEEN unless you specifically look for and approach them! The background is surprisingly white. I was expecting a softer tone. it's a lighter white than my white walls. The name of the wall color is Seltzer Water, a fading and very neutral color that lacks any other nuances, but is neither bright nor cold. I was also expecting softer, more neutral taupe/brown/brown tones in the non-grey parts. has a greenish-golden hue. it didn't ruin the effect at all. We have eight meter walls. some rolls covered two lanes, some less than two lanes. but the nature of the product is such that I could discreetly cut into the lower parts! The pattern fits snugly on the sides. I added what I needed and then lifted both pieces along the horizontal seam so the top of the strip lay over the bottom. That way the seam is gone! I am very satisfied with the product and its effect on my room and I recommend it to everyone! Note: You REALLY want help. it is not independent work. Also make sure the end you have is part of the UP/UP pattern before you start. I had to spin all five reels so I could hang from top to bottom.
