These tracks made our LED light strip installation look really good. We mounted them along the edge of our patio roof and it does make the LED dots blend together more. The individual dots are still visible, especially when they are at the dimmest setting. It is a shame these cost so much or we would use more of them. We didn't use the clips either as they made the aluminum stick out from the wood, so we just drilled 2 holes in each and put the screws right through them. We staggered the covers so the cracks did not line up with the ends of the channel which helps keep them in a perfectly straight line.
