Got this heatsink on an M Tried .2 Silicon Power 256GB PCI drive Due to the cooler the disc started to heat up more I would start my machine and the temperature would start at around 25C then rise and stay between 35-50C Without Heatsink would normally keep the drive temp around 40-45 C, with a heatsink the temp would rise and be kept between 44-48 C. I removed it and again immediately saw the temperature rise Warning: The one on M.2- The type of memory used in drives thrives in high temperatures and doesn't really like low temperatures, so trying to keep temperatures below 20Β°C will affect performance.
