Review on 2 Pack Cenipar ZE-268S6 Ceiling Fan Switch - Bronze Pull Chain 3 Speed 4 Wire by Muhamed Hogan

You get two switches. The one I put in worked fine. I'd just suggest a couple things: 1) First, make sure the problem is actually the switch by pulling the "L" wire off and holding it to the "1" wire to see if the fan then (or light) works; 2) Mark tape pieces "1", "2", "3", and "L" and put them around the old wires as you pull them off so you're sure where they go back on the new switch; 3) The wires go in the side of the switch, not the holes on top. Each is then held in place by an internal spring steel strip. Solid copper wire is strong enough to just be pushed into the side past this strip for a secure hold. But the more common stranded wire will just collapse when you try to push it in, so the holes on top are there to allow you to put a tiny screwdriver in to lever that internal spring steel strip back so you can push the wire in. Play with this when removing the wires from the old switch to understand which way to lever, in towards center or out, to push that internal spring strip aside a little to release/insert a wire. Understanding this will save you a lot of grief. (An alternative is to put solder on the stranded wire ends to make them stiff so you can then just force them into the side slots.)
