I have several ladders but I have been wanting one I could convert into a staging platform for years and this ladder allows me to do that, which I love. It took me a few minutes to unpack it, put it together and workout the folding/unfolding mechanisms, but once I got going it was relatively easy. (you pull on the little metal levers and it locks the springs in place allowing you to adjust the ladder position and then it clicks back into the locked position when the ladder reaches it next position). It is a long ladder and so that is really useful but also makes it wieldy to maneuver once it is in the various unfolded positions. It is narrower than many ladders, but this also makes the platforms for the staging more sturdy. It comes with a snap on support for the staging position which is nice, and an attachable shelf which is also very handy. All in all, I think it is a good ladder for the price particularly since the positions are so versatile.
