Review on 🔍 Milescraft Circular and Jig Saw Guide 14000713 by Eric Nallamothu

When I received this I was a bit disappointed; In the box it looked as flimsy as the instructions that came with my saw. But in use I was more impressed. It comes with a set of four guide rails (which attach the side rail to the saw. One fits my Dewalt circular saw and the other fits my Bosch jigsaw, so A-1 for convenience. There is a fine adjustment mechanism that is a bit looks plastic (because it was) but worked fine, just not sure about longevity, aligning to the cut line is an eye project, i.e. not a scale that lets you preset to x inches (arbitrary precision), but it's pretty easy and quick to make unless you're looking for aerospace precision with my jigsaw (I've tried using a handsaw but it kept tweaking and wandering in the cut and it wasn't fun at all ) Pretty good after I got the basic alignment and registration sorted out, the part of the lead that follows the edge of the beam is a bit flat and c and something like ovb he jump off the edge of the board, especially if the corner of the board is rounded. OK, pay attention. Next time I will add a small wooden extension to the fence to improve this performance. But it's generally safer than trying to get the job done on my table saw with a part-time team and something that could be done locally (i.e. not in the band saw area). Requires a bit of planing to clean (to make a cabinet) but might be good for construction applications.
