This is my update on my previous five star review. This pump has worked great 24/7 for four years. I lift my dirt 32 feet before it can float into the city sewers. The float broke today. I had to circumvent this with an external float switch. I still consider this pump to be the best bang for my buck. It would be better if the float was not built into the body. I will buy again. For those who have trouble filling the float, an outlet (vent) hole is required about 1/16 inch just above the threaded outlet in your pipe to allow the pump chamber to flood and vent when it isn't. , the pump is caving.
