Review on 🚙 Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Suspension Kit (57396) by Mark Gardner

Fits 2016 F250 diesel engine with power lift. The frame mount was quite difficult to install on the driver's side due to limited access. Also, the truck was equipped with a factory fifth wheel washer, and the main bolt (1/2 inch) needed to attach the upper frame mounts had to be shortened on both sides because the end hit the fifth wheel bearings before the nut was tightened. The installation, apart from the one previously mentioned, went pretty smoothly. Basic tools were required and lowering the spare tire allowed better access. I used the truck's jack under the hitch to raise the body to accommodate the airbag assemblies so no special lifting was required. That takes quite a long time. to install. I spent probably 6 hours, most of which was spent on the driver's side top frame mount. The airbags do an excellent job of keeping the truck level with the trailer and I didn't seem to notice any change. This has affected how smoothly the truck runs unloaded with about 30# air, which seems to relax the truck on the factory suspension. The whole assembly seems unchanged, leaving the rear of the truck slightly higher than the front. nt and 30# ended up just below the fuselage buoyancy point when the extra air was added. In summary, installing the entire system was a bit difficult, but doable with average mechanical experience and basic hand tools. You will likely need a hacksaw or similar tool to cut two 1/2 inch bolts if you have a fifth wheel installed. I am very happy with the airbags.
