Terrible installation, no hardware

If you don't have a lift and want to use this product I would suggest installing one in a shop unless you are an acrobat and don't like pain. I just got a jack and am still sick a few days later. (The manual says it takes 2 hours to install, I'd love to meet a guy who doesn't do it professionally who can do it in 2 hours, it took me six.) The box arrived in two days which I found it great but when i opened it i saw that it was at least partially installed by someone else and i assume it went…

Works as advertised just harder to install

They were very difficult to install. I have a huge tool book full of tools. It doesn't require many different ones to install, but the tight spaces you have to work on the frame box make it difficult to get your hands on your back. If you have a fifth wheel, you will need a 3" or 4" grinder to cut a groove in the frame rail to install the top anchor bolt. This is required on both sides. You will need strong jacks, a floor jack and a 2x6 stack. I raised my F350 with a jack and 2x6 under the…

Air jack 5000 fits 2016 Ford F-250 diesel engine

Fits 2016 F250 diesel engine with power lift. The frame mount was quite difficult to install on the driver's side due to limited access. Also, the truck was equipped with a factory fifth wheel washer, and the main bolt (1/2 inch) needed to attach the upper frame mounts had to be shortened on both sides because the end hit the fifth wheel bearings before the nut was tightened. The installation, apart from the one previously mentioned, went pretty smoothly. Basic tools were required and lowering…

Great airbag set!

Let me start by saying that shipping was a lot faster than I thought it would be. I ordered them on Saturday afternoon and received them on Monday. Installed on a short platform f-250 2014. I've seen a lot of fuss about how difficult they are to install. I had no problems at all. Everything went pretty well and only took about 2.5 hours. I didn't use any power tools other than my drill to get the shader valves into the license plate holes. The instructions weren't even really needed, it's a…

The installation is not exactly "simple ", but doable.

First of all I am not a professional mechanic/technician. I am 72 years old and consider myself an intermediate level automotive hobbyist with an above average set of tools including air impact wrenches and air ratchet wrenches. Maybe next install I can set the 3 o'clock marker. But it took 6-7 hours. Most of that was spent reading and rereading instructions. Not to say they're badly written, but it was a device I wasn't familiar with. So I read the guide many times to make sure I got it right…

Difficult to install

Firstly, when I had an air leak problem in one of the bag ports, the Air Lift team was very quick to respond to my issue. For that I give them 5 stars. A few parts (screws and washers) were missing but I have an assortment. Installation times are greatly underestimated by some browsers. Unless you have a full lift to get under the truck and access hard-to-reach screws and bolts, plan on spending days installing it. You lie on your back on a slider, crawl back and forth under a truck, rummage…

No mechanic: shock absorbers, struts and suspension

Installed on a 2011 Ford F-250 Super Duty. Just finished installing it. I can't say the installation was difficult, but it wasn't easy either. Not to fault the product but the fact that I'm not a locksmith, I'm a carpenter. After watching all the videos and reading the installation instructions I figured I could handle it. You only need some basic tools, ratchets, wrenches, a torque wrench, a jack and jack stands which I didn't have. I figured I could do it without a floor jack and just use a…
