Works great on tube fittings
This worked great to fix my (circa 1890, 130 year old) rusted 4" cast iron flange. I measured an inside diameter of about 3.8 inches; I had to do a little work with a chisel and wire brush in a drill press to remove rust and scale, and then it definitely stood up. The old flange top was almost flush but just above the finished floor; The new flange top with this one installed was about 1/4" or 3/8" above the finished floor. The Sani-Seal foam ring I bought didn't fit this new flange height, but the 1" wax ring worked fine.
