Does a very good job

I recently visited my mother and noticed that there are air purifiers in every room. They live in central California and due to the recent wildfires the air quality is really bad so she wears them all the time and says they really help. When I got home, I decided to try the RENPHO WiFi air purifier for a large room. in our flat. Our apartment is small so I think this five filter air purifier will get the job done. It's about the size of a big cat, so putting it in our living room isn't a big deal. It's easy to set up (with a note I'll mention in a moment) and turn on. You want it to always glow blue. I've been using it for a few days and couldn't tell if it was working well or anything. Then I was cooking and the pan started giving off a lot of steam, some smoke and some smells. Suddenly I heard a louder noise and noticed the air purifier was on and glowing red. After a few minutes it turned orange, then green, then blue again. There is an app that allows you to manage the air purifier and get reports about it. I couldn't connect it. I've found that most smart home items I've tried only connect over 2.6Hz networks. We have both but I always have to switch from 5.1 to 2.6 to connect the smart home element. In this case it didn't work. But I still turn it on automatically most days and it buzzes (quietly).

Pros
  • As everyone still does
Cons
  • Renovation
