Media could not be loaded. So I finally tested it on my 3018. It's terrible. Firstly it sounds criminally loud but it appears to be 30x louder than the original, secondly and most importantly it burned my controller board. Now the only way to turn off the spindle is to turn off the power supply. I think it might have burned the MOSFET on the board. Genmitsu shouldn't sell this, it breaks cars. Update: After my initial review, Sainsmart contacted me to try and resolve the issue. I did not expect this. I have changed my rating to 2 stars. I was offered to send a new board for the car, which I really liked. I will check the unit again when I get the board and spindle working according to your instructions. It's a pleasure to work with manufacturers who endorse their products! The block I received may be defective. They sent me a new board to replace the damaged one and a new spindle. I will test it as soon as I get it and update it to 5 stars. Not all manufacturers support their products in this way. While it's annoying to have problems with a new product, it's nice to receive great customer service! So thank you Sainsmart you will get my business in the future!
