Review on πŸ₯Ά Frost King HD7 Premium Unbreakable Air Deflector: Top Quality 2 Piece Set by Kevin Taharka

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works for ceiling vents, so to speak.

These deflectors are designed for floor fans, so using them on ceiling fans can be a bit awkward. 10-14 inches but you really want to be under 13 inches or 12 inches. When ceiling mounted instead of floor fans, gravity will cause it to sag a bit in the middle, and if it holds an inch at the end, the deflector will just fall apart. One has very short guides/tabs to hold the other side so you can slide one end for adjustment. Make sure it is properly installed on both sides. 3) The magnets move. Again, these are for floor fans, so they probably expected gravity to help pull the magnets off. If you place them on ceiling fans make sure they are as high as possible until they snag on the fan if there is an adjustable vent you may need to adjust the vent. w The deflector came loose a little and began to wheeze, making an annoying whistling sound. I have it half open so it dissolves a bit but the deflector stays. There were a few other annoyances with the magnets and screw placement on my vents, but overall it works. Not perfect, but it wasn't intentional. They are apparently a lot cheaper at your local hardware store but I couldn't find them so I took 2 packs to Revain instead. Overall, I paid an extra $2 or $2 for a device, but I got tired of looking for it in stores or paying shipping somewhere else.
