Review on Enhance Radar Detector Performance with Mirror Mount Bracket for Uniden DFR Series Detectors by Craig Shah

The mount itself works reasonably well and is easy to install. It comes with two sizes of screws in case you need longer or shorter screws to attach the bracket to your reading mirror. I suspect most will use the short ones, but you have options - some reviews mention the screws aren't long enough. Maybe it was a change based on product reviews? However, they are. My only concern is that the horizontal bar, which is then screwed in with a metal clip, will block one of the sensors ("eagle eye") on my Uniden DFR9 - see photo. I bent the bracket a bit to give a little more room, which now exposes part of the sensor but is still fairly hidden. This is a design issue as the metal bar really shouldn't be as big as it is. Overall this is a good solid mount that won't budge on bumps in the road etc.
