I installed this 2 stage water filter 2 weeks ago and it's made a huge difference in my house. My municipal water company here uses a lot of chloride and chlorate. After installing this, the water looks crystal clear and feels softer. Water quality throughout the house is so much better. It's more pleasant to shower, dishes come out of the dishwasher cleaner, and my clothes feel better. My wife even said her skin feels clearer.My order for this two stage filter arrived quickly. DIY installation by removing my old copper piping where the water meter enters the house and replacing with pex tubing. After running my water through the unit for a few hours, I noticed small drips coming out both sides where the threaded fitting connects to the filter housing and contacted ISpring for a solution. I did install the units following the exact instructions and wrapped my threaded fittings with 16 wraps of plumbers tape, which i thought was already overkill. Michele at the Company returned my call and said that they would send me a replacement housing unit and to try wrapping the threads 20x. Michele shipped me a replacement a few hours after we connected and looking forward to replacing the head unit to solve my slow drips.
