This box is fantastic. My first contractor used it. When my second contractor placed one of the other terrible options that includes an electrical box and cover on top of the siding, I immediately went in search of it. It took some time to find the right search terms. They have the best looks and the lowest profile despite being a lid to use. It certainly needs space *somewhere*, so it's deep. I have an old house with small rivets, but the outlet is mounted on an elegant shield, which makes it quite low. My only complaint is that the included socket cover was a little flimsy. Oops.
