Review on 🔌 JSAUX Aluminum External Converter Transfer - Grey by Temarquis Lopez

This is a very well made adapter and probably the only one that has an aluminum body in a compact form. The aluminum body helps keep it cool if you intend to use it 24/7 like I use for my RP4. It has an RP4 (Raspberry Pi) compatible ASM1153E chipset. It comes with ASMedia firmware version 140704_A1_00_00 which does not support TRIM. You must update the firmware to version 141126_A1_EE_83 (the latest firmware for this chipset from ASMedia at the time of writing) to support TRIM. With this firmware 141126_A1_EE_83 (default) only UGreen and Eluteng adapters were included out of 4 purchased. Find the firmware on the UGreen website, there is an update tool and firmware version available for download. This is my favorite adapter and I've been using it 24/7 with RP4 for almost 4 months now with no problems. Note. Updating the firmware can damage your adapter if you try to update from an unsupported version.
