Promotional text for this Makita hook and loop mat says it fits the Makita BO3050 ROS. It will be if you enlarge the holes for 3 screws. The three mounting holes (as opposed to the 8 air holes) on the Velcro side are too small. I didn't buy this block to bore it out. It probably wouldn't look good if I did that. Drills do not drill flat-bottomed holes. Forstner bits will do, but I don't have these little ones. The large opening on the back of this pad is 1 3/32" in diameter, which is the correct size for the Makita Orbital Sander Support Box Cover, BO3050. As Amy G. pointed out in another Revain review, the three screw holes in the hard plastic Velcro backing are not in the correct position. They are about a millimeter or two too far from the center of the site. I tried lengthening them with a round file. A genuine Makita pad has three screw holes that look more like slots than perfectly round holes. There is no need to fiddle with the slotted holes of a real Makita last. In order for this pad to fit the Makita BO3050 you will need to enlarge the 3 holes on the velcro side and lengthen the same holes on the back of the pad. I cannot recommend this product.
