The one I was using was really stiff and difficult to with with. This cable is truly flexible and the coating feels like rubberized PVC, or something. In any event, it's super flexible.I can't comment on the quality because I haven't had it long enough. Also, it's pretty inexpensive vs other Thunderbolt cables. Again, I have no idea if the price differential is a quality issue waiting to present itself, or just a really good buy.I tested it from the back of my motherboard's back panel USB 10Gbps connection, It saturated the USB 10Gbps connection.Over all, pleased with the cable.
