Incredibly easy to install, this light includes almost everything you need except plug and cord. I found an inner container to hang out the pipe, measured from the edge of the window for alignment, used a stud finder with an electric alarm to make sure I wouldn't cut any surprises, then aligned the siding adapter to the outside. Wall next to the internal outlet. I traced the inner rectangle, drilled a few holes big enough for a jigsaw puzzle, then cut a hole for the box. The kit even included putty to glue the box to the siding. The wires are plugged in, smeared and screwed down with a couple of screws, and you've got an outside outlet. It's a bit more expensive than some of the other boxes available, but my goodness, it was worth it. The two pull tabs are removable to close the door with an attached cord. It latches well and I'm not afraid of breaking the door or the clips that hold it closed.
